Hematopathology/Flow Cytometry/Cancer Genetics
Dr. Mohamed had his Bachelor Degree of Medicine and Surgery (MB ChB) from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He continued his education/training and obtained his Medical Doctorate Degree (M.D.) in Clinical Pathology and Hematology at Ain Shams University. Dr. Mohamed decided it was time to change scenery and weather and headed to the United States of America where he continued his specialized training in Hematopathology and Flow Cytometry as a visiting Fellow at Northwestern University, Chicago, USA under the guidance of the best experts in the field. Dr. Mohamed has been practicing since 2000, and he is recognized as one of the experts in the field of Hematopathology and Flow Cytometry in Egypt. His interests also include cytogenetics, cancer genetics, leukemias and lymphoma diagnosis. Dr. Mohamed is a member of several professional organizations including, the American Society of Hematopathology, European Hematology Association, Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Pathology, European Society for Clinical Cell Analysis, Egyptian Society of Hematology and he is a cofounder of the Egyptian Hematopathology Working Group. Dr. Mohamed is currently a Professor of Clinical Pathology and Hematology at Ain Shams University, Faculty of Medicine.
